Rylee Godin

Rylee (she/her) is Métis, originally from Fort Frances, Ontario, but has lived in Ottawa since 2008. Rylee holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and a Masters in Counselling with a specialization in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University.
She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Recently, Rylee has been the proud recipient of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association’s 2021 Indigenous Practice Award.
Rylee uses an approach to psychotherapy that blends contemporary theories and approaches with Indigenous ways of knowing, believing that well-being involves a balanced approach to our spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health. She has received trainings in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
