Hannah Bull

Student Associate & Project Assistant | Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hannah (she/her) is of European and Mohawk ancestry. Her father is a Canadian-born citizen with English heritage and her mother’s family comes from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Hannah holds a BA with honours in Psychology from the University of Guelph, and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Hannah is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.  

Hannah’s practice is grounded in community  and social justice with five years’ experience in advocacy work and  mental health promotion. She has mainly worked with young adults and Indigenous peoples. Hannah incorporates a range of therapeutic  modalities including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy  (NT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her approach is wholistic, strength based, client-centred, anti-oppressive and trauma informed. She has an interest in supporting clients experiencing  anxiety, low mood, life transitions, loss and trauma. Hannah is passionate about creating warm, safe and non-judgmental spaces to  support clients on their healing and wellness journeys.

Alongside her work as a Student Associate, Hannah also acts as a Project Assistant, supporting research, education and training initiatives centering Indigenous mental health at the Weaving Wellness Centre.
